I am a semi retired Head of Geography who has taught in Secondary Education for 32 years at 4 different schools. I established a keen interest in weather forecasting when I was at Secondary School myself and this interest in meteorology has stayed with me ever since, through university and into my profession as a teacher. Extreme weather events in the UK are my main specialism. Weather forecasting can be tricky at the best of times and I hope that I can make it simple to understand and at the same time interesting. I will try out some group exercises from time to time to see if you can predict the weather too.
