I am a landscape, buildings, and industrial archaeologist and author. I have more than 30 years' experience in researching and writing about the archaeology of Britain, and have published more than 40 books and more than 50 academic articles. My research interests include community archaeology, the Romano-British landscape, vernacular buildings, and industrial archaeology and landscapes.
