Background: I have been interested in languages all my adult life. At university I studied German and Business and worked for many years in training and technical writing. With my husband’s work we travelled to China where I studied Mandarin for 6 months and then went to live in Germany for four years, teaching English to school leavers. I have been teaching ESOL in the UK for 5 years.
