About this teacher
At the age of 18 I headed off to Madrid with a school friend to work as an au pair and learn Spanish. Following that I graduated in the UK with a degree in French and Spanish.
My university year abroad was spent in Toulouse and Seville – the latter being a magical place where I was captivated by flamenco music and dance.
I took time out of my career job in University administration to travel to the Peruvian Amazon, Mexico and Costa Rica and there combined my love of nature and the tropics with speaking Spanish.
Later in life I took a short teacher training course to enable me to teach adults which I enjoy.
My teaching approach is very interactive. I use a variety of methods and my aim is to create a relaxed, friendly environment where learning is fun.
