A bangle is the jewellery equivalent of that little black dress everyone should have in their cupboard. It is a great project to lay some firm foundations in jewellery making.
You will learn a wide range of jewellery making skills such as: • Piercing • Filing • Annealing • Soldering • Basic Forming • Basic hammering • Texturing • Polishing • Twisting Choose from a selection of techniques to make a bangle of your choice and design, for example, be by texturing, stamping, twisting, sawing, etc.
Learn to measure your bangle size and then make up to fit perfectly. You will leave at the end of the day with a unique bangle and a good foundation of skills in jewellery making. Copper will be provided and students are welcome to bring their own silver but silver can be purchased on the day from the tutor.
