Course synopsis

Have you ever perused the cabinets in our community gallery & wondered how jewellery is made? 

Come along for a brand new class running for 4 weeks on Wednesday Evenings 7:30 – 9:30pm or Friday mornings 11:30am – 1:30pmn (If you can’t make this time slot please whats app Hannah 07855 371548 to check if we have any other time slots available)

You will be introduced to the workshop; a variety of tools and techniques and you will make a selection of contemporary jewellery over the four weeks. 

Starting with a circle in metal, will can make a ring, pendant or earrings as this is the start of so many projects.  Learning how to measure, size, texturing, shape, saw & polish amongst other techniques which will quickly progress to setting semi-precious stones.  Hannah has a huge array of metals, stones and inspiration to help you along your journey which initially can seem daunting but with a little help you will be able to make some gorgeous items. 

All tools are supplied however raw materials are a little extra and charged by weight so a slim stacking ring may be £3ish and if you choose a chunky design, it will be a little more.  Card machine is available on the day.
