About this teacher
Ruth started sewing as a young child, taught by her grandmother who was a seamstress. Her passion for sewing and textiles has continued throughout the years alongside her professional career as a project manager.
More recently, Ruth completed a City & Guilds qualification in Textiles and now teaches a range of sewing and textile courses. Ruth is currently chairman of a thriving Textile Group, Textile Explorers and a member of an exhibiting group Ten Plus Textiles.
