Let's talk about our first Dementia Friendly Cafe and the awesome feedback received.

"I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your team for arranging this afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised by the numbers of gentlemen attending and dad commented he was pleased there were others there that he had common interests with. Our personal feedback was FANTASTIC, Mum was relieved to meet other like-minded carers to share their struggles and experiences and enjoyed the brief respite that dad was distracted"

I personally felt completely humbled to be able to spend time with people living with memory loss and their amazing carers and partners. Listening to how every day life effects those caring for loved ones was really difficult and I got quite emotional... It's the hardest job in the world. Ali
