Congratulations to Max!

Our youngest apprentice has been accepted to Birmingham BCU School of
Jewellery. We look forward to hearing all about Max’s next jewellery making
chapter and the wonderful work he’ll be making.

After being inspired by the programme All that Glitters, Max
decided to try his hand at jewellery making to supplement his art course at
Stockport College. He attended Mia Calderisi Phelan’s classes for two years.
Firstly on a Thursday evening (5am-7pm) and then enjoyed it so much he doubled
up to do her Monday morning class 9.30am - 11.30 am as well.

“We’ve all thoroughly enjoyed having a younger student in class and Max
was taken under the wings of my students instantly. It’s been wonderful to see
Max’s skills progress and his confidence in his abilities grow and grow. We all
wish you the very best for your future.” Mia Calderisi Phelan.

If you are interested in learning to make jewellery there are still
places available at Mia’s Thursday evening class. This class is now open to
anyone from 15 years and upwards so please get in touch if interested or have
any questions.

Term starts Thursday 21 Sept. 10 week block 5pm-7pm.

Mixed ability - Suitable for beginners and those with jewellery making
experience.
