Wildgoose Nursery, Munslow
This wonderful nursery is set within an old walled garden brought back to life by Jack and Laura Wildgos. Many of you will have enjoyed Jack’s talk with us last October. The nursery was started as a specialist grower of hardy perennial violas but has expanded to include a wide range of flowering perennials and grasses. The garden is a showcase for the wonderful plants shown off in beautifully planted borders. Recently the glasshouses have been restored and the nursery was listed in the top 100 nurseries in 2019.
Ashwood Nursery, Kingswinford
This renowned nursery is the creation of John Massey and his garden is regarded as one of the finest private gardens in the UK, looking good all year round. Specializing in award winning Hellebores, Hepaticas, hardy Cyclamen, Salvias, Hydrangeas and Snowdrops the nursery is a gardeners delight.
Cost of Visit is £57.00. This includes coach travel, gratuities, entry to both gardens, morning coffee/tea/cake and lunch at Wildgoose Nursery and at each venue we shall receive a short introductory talk before exploring the gardens.
