Bodnant is a well known garden which has something to offer all year round but is particularly lovely in spring. It covers around 80 acres with quite a lot of new areas that have been restored and opened up over the last few years.
The coach will leave from the Hickory Smokehouse on Altrincham Road at 9.30 am and return from Bodnant by about 6.00pm.
We should have around four and a half hours to enjoy the garden, use the cafes (there are two) plus a kiosk in the Dell which does takeaway refreshments. There is also a garden centre which is actually not National Trust for anyone wanting to buy plants.
