Course synopsis
Some years back I ran a course with this title in order to examine the art of the singer of popular song. I now propose to look again at the topic to consider judgements made then and to listen to some new and different artists we didn’t have time to include. How interpreters of song use technique, or even lack of it to create magic is fascinating. The emphasis will be on listening and discussing and, as always, we welcome friends old and new.
Course commences Thursday September 19th, finishing on Thursday 28th November
