Course synopsis
This course will look at the story of American art from the early years of WWII until the boom in American art in the 1980s. Movements such as Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art will be discussed, as well as sessions on photography and the work of Feminist and African-American artists.
This is a ten week course, there will be no class on Friday 15 May or half term week, Friday 29 May 2026
