Course synopsis
This will be a ten week course in which we will look together at a range of poems focusing on some themes which have continued to preoccupy poets over the centuries. The emphasis will be on informal sharing of responses to the texts rather than a series of lectures. No prior literary study is needed other than a curiosity about literary language and how it works. As always we welcome friends old and new.
Course commences Thursday September 19th, finishing on Thursday 28th November
