Course synopsis
A Vintage Year. Two of the greatest writers of the twentieth century were born in 1903. George Orwell and Evelyn Waugh were very different personalities whose divergent lives led to opposing politics. Both however, in their distinct ways, were great stylists of the English language. We shall study:
