Beginners Art Drawing And Painting, 3 Hour Course

For those with little or no recent experience.  Learn how to draw and paint through instruction from Anna, inspiration from the work of other artists and support from fellow students.  The Summer term will be spent exploring landscape.  We will look at linear perspective so that we can draw and paint man-made objects in the landscape We will also continue our learning about colour and tone and apply that to atmospheric perspective so that we can show depth and distance. We will use pencil, paint and other media to learn about shape, edge, tone, contrast, colour and texture and how to turn what you see in three dimensions into a two- dimensional picture using painting techniques.  A kit list will be provided at the beginning of the course.
