Navigating The Midlife Maze

All Clubs and Groups

Information

Is change a challenge or a blessing?  By the time you reach mid-life, you’ve probably experienced quite a few life challenges already. Growing up, starting work, new relationships, career change?  And while mid-life offers exciting choices, it can often bring you face to face with difficult decisions.

In a supportive and confidential environment, we will look at mid-life changes  from the women’s perspective.  And whatever issues are on your mind, you can get together with others who’ll listen and share their own experiences.

Led by an experienced Facilitator and Qualified Life Coach, members will be encouraged to participate and contribute to the running of the group.  This means you’ll learn new skills, grow in confidence, handle life more serenely and, with luck, make new friends along the way.

The Group is open to anyone facing challenges large or small, and wanting more support to cope with redundancy, menopause, children leaving home, caring for elderly parents, divorce, loss, retirement, change of living circumstances or location.  Or anyone simply finding life a bumpy ride and wanting a greater sense of power and control in the world.

We’ll use life coaching techniques, particularly the popular GROW model, and follow a group process used by successful organisations across the world.  This is a personal growth opportunity not to be missed. Numbers are limited to ten to ensure individual time and focus for everyone.

Benefits and Goals of the Group

“Judi was able to ‘hold’ the group with care, kindness and respect and instilled firm boundaries which I really appreciated.”

“I had no idea what to expect but I joined with an open mind – and had my mind opened further.  Thank you for providing this valuable opportunity.”

“I felt supported in the most caring and unbiased way by what initially felt like a group of strangers.”

“Allowing people the time to be open and vulnerable is so important and the space certainly facilitated that. I was struck how people can work together collaboratively for the good of each other, having only their best interests at heart.”
