Green Dragon Mah Jong

Come and discover the wonderful world of Mah Jong! Whether you’re an absolute beginner keen to learn from scratch or an experienced player who knows every twist and turn of the game, The Green Dragon Mah Jong Club welcomes you.

GDMJ is a friendly, community-based weekly Mah Jong group, run by The Guild for Lifelong Learning’s Mah Jong enthusiasts. We welcome adult players of all ages and abilities.

New to Mah Jong? You’re in good hands!

For complete beginners, we offer friendly, guided sessions using open hands to help you understand the rules and get to grips with the game. We guarantee that you’ll be playing Mah Jong in earnest before the end of your very first session!

For those with some experience, we’ll do our best to match players to tables according to their skill level. There will always be an experienced player on hand to offer help, advice and encouragement.

Session prices:

Full membership up to 31.08.27 £50 booked online

2 taster-sessions £10 cash payable on the door - refunded when full membership is taken up.
