Pedal 4 Parks is an eco-adventure documentary team. In the summer 2021, they challenged ourselves in the form of a first of its kind environmental endurance bikepacking adventure. They cycled over land and sea (on waterbikes) from the Orkney Islands to the Isles of Scilly, doing this as ecologically as possible, including cycling on own hand-built bamboo bikes.
During the expedition, the team highlighted potential solutions to regenerate our National Parks, green spaces and marine conservation areas at scale. These can be major leaps for the UK to improve the environment and be more sustainable, also focusing on what these spaces mean for our physical and mental health.
Their documentary film will be distributed on Amazon Prime, well-known film festivals such as Kendall Mountain Festival, and potentially COP26 via charity UK National Parks Foundation.
