Guild Student - Howard Mellowes

Among this term’s students at the Guild is writer Howard Mellowes, author of a number of crime and mystery books, including the Chase and Halshaw novels.

Beginning with Faithfully, the Chase and Halshaw novels follow Detective Constable Lauren Halshaw of the Avon and Somerset force, and her occasional mentor, Detective Inspector Allen Chase of the Met, as they solve murders in London and Somerset while trying to deal with complications in their personal lives. Halshaw is young, capable, and ambitious, while Chase is a brilliant detective but a poor policeman, whose career stalled many years ago.

All five novels in the series, along with Howard’s other books, are available from Amazon for Kindle, and also as paperbacks.
