Casting

This is an experimental class where you can try different techniques such as the traditional cuttle fish casting, modern delft sand casting and also casting into unusual things such as water, ice, spaghetti, beans, etc.  

Hannah will demonstrate how to contemporary set synthetic stones & rough cut stones such as CZ’s & sapphires using the process of “cast in place setting”.  You can experiment with this process, suitable stones will be available to purchase on the day.  If you have any scrap or broken precious metal jewellery it’s ideal to use for this class.
