Singing For Fun Mixed Voice Choir

Course synopsis

The Singing for Fun choirs at the Wilmslow Guild are for anyone who
wants to sing for fun. Some of our singers are very knowledgeable about
music and have a great deal of experience, and some of our singers have
never been in a choir before joining us – and most singers are somewhere
in-between. There is no audition required, and you needn't be able to
read music (though we do use sheet music). However, we do take on some
challenging material. Our repertoire has included choral music, folk
songs, spirituals, show tunes, pop, rock – everything from Elgar to
Elton. We have two formal concerts each year as well as occasional
opportunities to perform in the community.

Autumn: Commence w/c 20 September for 10 weeks (with a half term break w/c 25 Oct) and the concert on Tuesday 7 December

Spring: Commence w/c 10 January for 10 weeks (with a half term break w/c  21 Feb) and the concert on Tuesday 29 March

Summer: Commence w/c 18 April for 6 weeks only (up until half term break w/c 30 May)
