Course synopsis

End of Spring Term Support Session 

Friday 25 Mar 2022 Only [‘Live’ Stream: 9.30 am – 10.30 am] 

The session will not be recorded 

At the end of the spring term there is an option of one-hour online group support. The session will be delivered using a digital platform. The tutor will e-mail you nearer the time with log-in details. 

The support session gives you the opportunity to reflect on the key topics studied during the face-to-face classes and be invited by the tutor, to share
with other members any resources both traditional media and on-line,
that you found helpful to the development of your work. 

evaluating the piece(s) created and any sampling that you undertook,
the overall aim is to look for the beauty and uniqueness in the work, as
opposed to being too exacting about it. As well as the aesthetics of
the work, be prepared to share with the group if there were any
unexpected outcomes in the process of creating it; what inspired you in
the natural/man-made environment or did a particular designer or artist
get your creative juices flowing? Finally, if a sample or complete item
didn’t work, could you disassemble it or use it as a background for new

After the session the key points in the discussion will be typed up by the tutor and e-mailed to all participants.
